APSC – BP compound
APSC compound in Saigon is a great choice for those looking for a safe and secure place to stay. The compound is located in a quiet residential area, surrounded by lush green parks and trees, providing a tranquil environment in the center of Thao Dien. Additionally, the compound is equipped with 24–hour security guards, CCTV cameras and access control systems, ensuring the safety of its tenants. Furthermore, the compound has a wide range of amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, tennis court, restaurant, and a supermarket. This is one of the most sough after places in Thao Dien and the rental prices there are high.

This compound has been built in 2005. It is very secure and offer good quality environment for the families. The quality used to be good but some houses really start to fall apart with traces of molding and rusty kitchens, damage wooden floor etc.. But luckily, there are also some owners who have invested in renovations or re-designing their house.
Thao Dien I & 2 compounds
146 Nguyen Van Huong – Thao Dien ward – Ho Chi Minh City
These 2 compounds are located in the center of Thao Dien. The owners of the villas are individuals, unlike the BP. The houses are different from each others in style, size and price. Security is good. tennis court, 24 hour security.
Phu Nhuan compound
St 41 – Thao Dien ward – Ho Chi Minh City
This compound is quite old but most houses there have very nice and big garden. I don’t really recommend the houses managed by the phu nhuan company unless you are on a very tight budget. Some houses are private owned and have been nicely renovated or well kept. The location is also not bad as you will be in the center of Thao Dien. The security team is average but we haven’t heard of a lot of burglaries in this compound. The entrance of the compound is often flooded during heavy rains.
Fideco compound
14 Thao Dien street – Thao Dien ward, District 2 – Ho Chi Minh City
This compound is very well located in Thao Dien, in front of Thao Dien street where you will find many restaurants, the An Phu supermarket etc…. The house won’t have a large yard though and few have a pool. Some of the houses in this compound can be really interesting though.
Eden compound
121 Nguyen Van Huong – Thao Dien ward, District 2 – Ho Chi Minh City
The Eden compound has some modern houses. It is also very safe and doesn’t have a lot of construction nearby.
Kim Son compound
112 Nguyen Van Huong – Thao Dien ward, District 2 – Ho Chi Minh City
The Kim Son compound has some of the best houses you can get in Thao Dien if your budget allows it. Most houses for rent there are usually above $4,000 US. Some of them have very high standard and a modern style. The security is good but most people in this compound use a private guard still.
Phu Tuong compound

The houses in this compound are really comfortable in term of size. They usually have 5 bedrooms on 3 floors and a large living room. The standards are just ok.
Nothing really fancy. But the location is good if you want to stay around the BIS. There is a security at the main gate but as the don’t really patrol the compound we recommend to use a private guard.
Spring compound
street No.2 – Thanh My Loi Ward, District 2 – Ho Chi Minh City
This compound offers very good quality houses and services. It’s main weakness unfortunately resides in its location as it is not close the main Thao Dien area and its schools, shopping, etc… The area is starting to be attractive with upgraded roads and bridge with easy access to D1, nice apartment complexes such as Diamond island, Vista Verde, Felix en Vista, Waterina…
The houses are very spacious with 4-5 bedrooms for each. The garden are not enclosed if you chose to be inside the compound.
Budget between $4,000-6,000 USD/month
An Phu Compound
Street No. 11, An Phu Ward, District 2 – Ho Chi Minh City
The An Phu compound is like a small resort. There are a lot of nice trees. There are 2 tennis courts and a shared swimming pool (some house of their own private pool).
Price from 1,500-3,500 USD per month
ABC compound
Tran Nao Street – An Khanh Ward, District 2 – Ho Chi Minh City
Some interesting houses in this compound. If you can’t find anything on Thao Dien you should definitely check it. You may have a nice surprise.
Street 23 compound
Tran Nao Street, Binh An Ward, District 2 – Ho chi Minh City
This compound is also on the other side of the Hanoi highway. It is peaceful also 2 schools recently opened there.
Greenfield compound
61 street No.2, Binh An Ward, District 2 – Ho chi Minh City
The houses at the Greenfield compound are usually old but they are also cheaper than the ones in Thao Dien and have a good size garden. There is a shared pool and private security.
Lan Anh compound
2 street No.45, Binh An Ward, District 2 – Ho chi Minh City
This compound is attractive to those who need to be close to District 1.
