VITA Tennis Academy
VITA stands for "Vietnamese International Tennis Academy".
Owned by a french - vietnamese certified tennis coaches, VITA tennis Academy opened in 2014. With a tennis school program for kids, a competition program for teenage and group lessons for adults, VITA Tennis Academy is the only Tennis Academy which propose these services in Ho Chi Minh city. VITA Tennis Academy is based in Ho Chi Minh City District 2 right behind AIS International School "Thu Thiem Campus, but also run in two other clubs in Ho Chi Minh city also.

VITA Tennis Academy proposes tennis programs for all from the beginners to the more serious players.
"Discovery tennis" Level 1:
Designed for the beginning tennis player without no tennis experience (for 3 to 5 years old)
This class utilize ITF standard foam or red balls. Session is 45 minutes duration during when players will be taught basic skills such as rolling, catching, throwing balls. We develop the eyes-hands-feet coordination with adapted equipments and games , players will develop their skills in a dynamic and fun environment testing their movement in different directions, balance and body control. Learning trajectories of bouncing ball. And slowly learn to toss the ball by themselves with the serve. Basic rules and tennis rally will be taught.
"Red tennis" Level 2:
Designed for the beginning tennis player with no to little tennis experience (for 4 to 7 years old)
This class utilize ITF standard red balls. Session is 45 to 60 minutes duration during when players will continue to develop basic tennis fundamentals including grips, swing patterns, contact points, drop feeding and racquet handling skills. We continue to build the players coordination, with different games and drills. Players will learn to do rallies and slowly playing points and score starting with a serve.
"Progressive orange tennis" Level 3 & Progressive green tennis Level 4:
Designed for the beginning to intermediate tennis player with some tennis experience (approximatively for 6 to 11 years old)
This class utilize ITF standard colour ball (Orange and green). Stroke fundamentals covered in DISCOVERY class will continue to be developed as well as an all-around game.
In level 3 playing with orange balls, we focus on the serve and we develop rally skills through different approaches. Kids should be able to return serve hit by his partner and start rallying together. All basic techniques are taught from groundstrokes to volley, smashes and overhead serve. Players should be able to play adapted friendly match and score inside the service box.
In level 4 playing with green balls, we focus on the basic techniques and also the overhead serve. We continue to develop the technic through more power groundstrokes in order to play on a full side tennis court. Movement up and down are taught, approach to the net, defensive skills and offensive skills are developed. Kids are able to rally consistently inside the 64 feet tennis court and play friendly match with serve and score.
JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAM
"Intermediate Junior", Level 5:
Designed for the intermediate to advanced tennis player with at least 2 years of tennis experience (approximatively for 8 to 16 years old)
This class utilize ITF standard yellow ball for tournament players looking to refine their tennis skills and increase performance in competitive situations.
In level 5, In teenage years, players are more receptive to the technique skills and we focus on it. We emphasis the game and play different point format with tactical awareness: Be consistent, play deep, play on the backhand side, hitting the opening court, attacking the ball etc...
"Competition Junior", Level 6:
Designed for advanced tennis player with more than 2 years of tennis experience and wish to start playing competition more regularly (approximatively for 8 to 18 years old)
Players are starting to get serious with their tennis, playing competition and try to improve their rating yearly. Players will continue to develop and shape their own game style, specialised tactics and point sets up to maximize weapons. There will be an increase of physical conditioning and mental toughness. Training is geared to help players plan, prepare and perform in tournament circuits.
"High Performance Level:
Designed for advanced tennis player with at least 4 years of tennis experience (Can start only after 11 years old)
For players who wish to do a professional tennis career or players who wants to go for US College tennis with possibility to get a good scholarship while playing the sport they love in a healthy environment.
This is the ultimate level of tennis seriousness at our academy. Players will be taught how to plan their training. They will have to become athletes and build on their physical abilities and mental toughness. All players will be on a private plan and goals to reach their maximum potential. Players need to be dedicated 100% to their tennis program in order to achieve their dreams.
